Absolutely correct

19/32 = 15.08 mm, I have both sockets, but I am usually searching the drawer for the loose 19/32 so I often grab the 15mm and it's fit every one yet. All Snap-on, but built with the proper .08 mm (0.003 inches) FE rod bolt slack ;)

15 would be really close. 19/32 .594 15.08mm. Might depend who's brand 15mm

---I just remembered that I have a set of 16 new Ford rod bolts and 15 nuts as I have described here.

---Probably have had these laying around for something like 40 years.

---when I got the new bolts I machined each end so I could use a micrometer to check the stretch.
---for some reason I ended up with 13 used nuts and 2 new nuts.
---I have also lightly polished around the outside of the rod bolt heads to remove some not so perfect looking skin of those areas.

---for sure the used rod nuts have only been installed to where there is one side showing the shiny friction surface--other side has never been torqued against.

---these photos are what they look like today.

$100---16 new Ford 428 large diameter rod bolts that use 13/32” nuts (15mm socket)
---part number is C2AZ-6214-B
---both ends are machined to allow checking for stretch with a micrometer
---OD of threads measure .3990”---OD of shank is .405”--has a .371” OD x .398” long stretch area

$ 40---only have 15 total 13/32 nuts (all nuts require a 15mm socket) for the large Ford rod bolts.
---13 are pristine used 13/32” hex nuts with the one used side lightly polished flat.
----2 are brand new 13/32 nuts Ford part #COME-6212-A
---ID of the nuts measure .365”---the hex head of the nut measures .588”---requires a 15MM socket

I wonder if Ford packaged them in boxes of ten under the pragmatic assumption that one or two would roll off under the bench or if it's just another example of the 'hot dog conundrum', wherein wieners come in ten-packs but buns in eight... :-k

Thanks Bill
I got what I hope ARP says are an exact replacement for the OE bolts buy some how I suspect they are just the same bolt with a 3/8"NF flanged nut but the larger hex nut but I will see when they get here tomorrow.

After I check these new bolts if there is any doubt about fit I will contact you for the OE bolts you have on hand.

And many Thanks for looking and rounding them up But in the interim don't pack them away just in case. Depending on what I recieve from ARP I may have to call you.
