Nice! How do you think one like that for a Windsor 395 cu.in. would do. I like it, but the runner length.....

4150/4160 pattern but regular inline pattern/bowls front and rear. this one was set to fit 2 x 4150 mech bases with impco 425 LPG mixers on top.

Runner length is the biggest downfall with these intakes in 1 x 4 or 2 x 4 but they work better with gaseous fuel like propane or LPG and favour earlier IVC due to shrot runners.
Ok for a purpose or the looks though.

Thanks for the reply. I have a 360 offy for a 351 W and a small shop and a lot of know how. I think that mod would make an engine more peaky and destroy any street manners with 249 @ .050.

No they never get peaky, they have a pretty flat tq curve as 1x4 or 2x4. They dont get the same peaky "on the cam and intake feel" as a single plane does and dont have the same low end tq as a dual plane.
I have done a direct comparison on a 4V clevo F246 crane copy, 10.8:1 cr between that very offy 360 (prior to it becoming a 2x4) and compared to a weiand xcellerator. 3600 stall but up to 3000/3500 it "felt" exactly the same to cruise and in the way it hit the convertor but from aprox 4000/4200 to 6300 the xcellerator was way stronger, 11.6 to 11.31, nearly 3 tenths at 3530 lb inc driver!
I have not done that comparison in 2 x4 form but they "feel" a little stronger up top but definetly not peaky. In all honesty they would be one of the most un peaky intakes i have ever felt. Great for looks, thats it.

Actually to add to that on the above mentioned example, i had driven "not on the 1/4 mile" that combo with 1x4 360 but with a 4spd manual transmission. Also with 780 vac , 750 dp and 850 dp, Flat tq curve from the get go and just no feeling of "getting on the cam".
But as i said earlier they are a better match for gaseous fuel and do drive and respond much better.

i hate to say it as i like Offy for some reason, but in manifold shoot-out comparisons the 2 plane Offy's don't hit the big numbers and leave significant power missing somewhere between the air filter and the flywheel. i don't think they spent a lot of time or effort working the internals, they're mostly just carb to engine adapters. Offy just seemed to have almost every application covered even 4's and 6's

that they do well with gaseous fuels kind of makes sense, it's not going to have any suspension or atomization drop-out issues. that said, maybe a Holley carb or 2 is not the best choice for an Offy manifold? AFB's and Rochesters are generally accepted to atomize better than Holleys so they may show better drivability and BSFC (power vs economy) averages. IIRC Offy touted their BSFC quite often

I really like to look/style of the offy stuff too , IMO better looking than most other stuff. Kind of has a nice vintage look which i like.
The Port O Sonic was a good intake. In the realm of Torker, Xcellerator, Street Dominator, it works well.
Im not sure about Offys BSFC numbers, a lot of the stuff Offy wrote seems at least to me like advertising. Although i have used a fair bit of Offy gear, I now think of it more as great looking gear for visual performance and not so much as tyre burning performance!
Anything that atomizes fuel better would definetly help the 360 Equaflow intake.

Thanks for the depate, much appreciated.

Seems like they are not the best out there ( which i knew when i chose my path), but they maybe aint so crap than "they" make you believe.
So far, ive saved my Carters, done some really minor work to intake due to two humps on runners from casting, and then im after air cleaner.
