Do you all think if I installed a lifter that 50 grams less than the lifter I currently use will change my peak rpm that I running now.And would that amount of gram lose per lifter make anymore hp.

Define your use. Those turning 9,500 RPM for five to twenty-four hours would want the lighter lifters. The rest of us on a sliding scale down to not at all.

I've seen estimates of the relative importance of valve side weight vs. push rod side of anywhere from 3 to 5X...

Are these direct acting buckets or does it have rockers, and if so, what ratio?

Shooting from the hip here...if the prevailing theory is that pushrod weight hardly matters (and you pick up strength with a bigger pushrod), and the lifter is underneath that heavy pushrod, then I can’t see a lighter OR heavier lifter being an issue. Plus a lifter is so close to the axis that it shouldn’t matter.
I think your looking at a salesman’s point of view.
At least that’s my simpleton point of view...
