243 or 799 castings unless you dont want that much compression. A flat top 6.0 will have 10.5 to 10.8 or so wirh those castings.

An early Z06 cam has good manners and could work good for towing. 204 211 116 i believe.

What engine is existing in the truck?

You will have to be careful if its Calif. emissions as the engine types like the 4.8L and 5.3L LS's have a much lower CO and HC and Nox numbers in the computer test on the emissions dyno and a 6.0 with any kind of aftermarket performance upgrades will be hard to tune lean to pass test.

If you are just going to have to test in a state where they look under the hood and do a simple pass/fail test you could most likely make it fly.

A belt driven intake manifold (TVS 1900) is a great addition to a 5.3 for towing.
