Chevy and there titanium valves
When chevy put titanium valves in there LS7 vettes a few years back what did they do for seats and valves to make them last long term. Impression i get aftermarket seats and or valves wont last long term in a street engine. I would be interested in just a titanium intake valve if it could be made to last.

The titanium valves in the ls7's don't last, that is a big issue with them. But, for them to last, you could use a coated valve seating face, and a bronze alloy type seat. Moldstar, Berrrilium, ampco bronze like Brodix uses, the seats from c.h.e. work well too. Between the 2, I think they would hold up reasonably well.
Just realized I replied to the same post twice, that was posted twice. I thought I hit submit. lol

Huum made an assumption that it worked. Back to the original plan of hollow stem valves to save some weight.
