In search of some valve locks....

Post by blykins »

Not having any luck though.

If anyone knows of a manufacturer/retailer that sells 7mm stem, 10°, square groove, steel valve locks with a lash cap recess, I'd be much obliged for the information.

I've tried Comp, PAC, Manley, Ferrea, Victory, and Trend....

Trick Flow has a valve lock, but it doesn't have a lash cap recess.

Worst case you can get some without lash cap recess & machine them in a lathe with a cut down junk retainer & valve.
Heaps easier to buy them tho!

Just call them and they will find out what they have or can get.
Their website contains about 1 tenth of things they will try to get for you.

Emailed them. They don't have anything with a lash cap recess.

Why in the world would Ferrea make off-the-shelf (F1470P) 7mm valves that have a square groove?

I think I would want another set of valves with beadlock grooves with that small of a stem. Square grooves leave the valve stem too small at the bottom of the square groove. They are a wreck waiting to happen.
