Titanum valve tips
What is the smallest stem size that one can employ hard steel tips ? Thanks to all, Mark H.

I believe my 6mm xceledyn's have them... I'll have to check.
Update... 6's don't but the 7's do.
I'll have to have these cut down to work on anything I screw together so lash caps will be in place.

7mm is about it, but it is still getting a little sketchy IMO
Lash caps are good, except for the weight! Lol

Going with smaller stem size was about keeping the weight down but I'd rather stay away from the last cap if I could so I don't know yet another hard decision

I have steel lash caps on 4.5 mm Ti valves. Engine is 2 valve OHC with rockers and screw lash. 15000 rpm reliably.
