Not having fans in the seats doesn't mean there are less people watching. The camera coverage seen on TV is spectacular. The retired drivers watching from the booth are all amazed at the entirely different perspective. Ticket sales are not the only source of revenue for the sanctioning body.

My point exactly,ratings are down like virtually all sports but there is no way to tell how many are watching on the iPads etc.Tom

What IS needed is all manufacturers run a race version of what they sell in production cars and run the EXACT car the engines come in such as the REAL

Nascar would find that the fans would come back too!
Timmy Hill/MBM/Carl Long still run a dodge in the Xfinity series.

There's a handful of other "zombie dodges" as well. They won't be banned (due to the body) until next year.
