Lighter gudgeon pin suggestion

Post by Rimmo »

I'm ordering a set of KB hyper pistons and they come with a 145gram .927"gudgeon pin.

I'm trying to match the weight of another piston / pin combo which has a 120 gram pin so I'd like to get a set of 120 gram pins to take some weight out of the KB settup.

Can anyone suggest a pin around this weight I can use in a daily driver street performance, 6000rpm max, 3.48"stroke, 10:1 compression application.

A thinner wall, tool steel pin from just about any one of the custom piston manufacturers will work fine.
