BBC heads

Can anyone give me a ball park price on a set of BBC heads? I got a pair of real nice square port 427/425 HP heads, new stainless valves, had bronze guides installed, have had a real light clean up cut, not been ported. I was going to use them on my gasser build but been thinking about going alum. Been told it'd be a shame to do any port work on them that they were getting pretty rare.They have the 109 cc chambers.Are they really worth a lot or screw it and use them?

Can't remember the casting # but they are what we used to call, semi closed, 108.9 cc, earlier ones we called bath tub chambers. I haven't kept track of this crap, I've seen the double hump sb heads bring way more than I'd give.

If anyone has touched the ports, "light clean up" or whatever, they're worth about 1`/3 the going rate, at best, maybe $400.

they are not worth a ton, last few sets I sold only got 1-200 a pair
maybe some vette guys pay for those #s wasnt my experience. Id say if they are super cheap maybe use them but really....they are super old iron heads I wouldnt pay a bunch for them. Heck the last 396 I had only brought 100 nobody wanted it.
