Can someone please share the center-to-center lifter bore dimension for small block Ford engines? I tried to search on here and the wider web to no avail. Thanks,
Don

Thank you Tom. The fellow I bought this block from was running Losito's heads and has apparently moved the intakes out 0.100". It is currently bushed for 0.937" lifters. The wear pattern on the cam indicates the rollers are running right on the edge of the lobes, but it has not pushed any material. I have a good set of Jesel 0.904" lifters, considering bushing the bores back down if I can find a set with an OD of ~1.120". Or just run the thing?

Standard Ford SB spacing is 1.730"c-c, I think Dart has an option for 1.830" on their blocks. Is your block a Dart?

We get our lifter bushings from Precision Products in Arden NC. They will make customs out of Ampco 45 bronze. 1-800-421-9150, ask for Debbie.donclark wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 7:57 am Thank you Tom. It is a Dart, that would explain it. I see Jesel makes a .937" keyway lifter with an offset roller, might be an option to get the wheel back in the center of the lobe. I mocked it up this afternoon, wrapped some tape around a .904" lifter with .180" offset and the pushrod looks pretty straight. This deal could work out.Charliesauto wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 7:26 pmStandard Ford SB spacing is 1.730"c-c, I think Dart has an option for 1.830" on their blocks. Is your block a Dart?
