Purchased a car and this is what it has, trying to get an estimate on output, but also ways to improve tq etc with such a large runner head?
355, 9.5:1 compression 7000 rpm limit 1/4 mile dirt track 3000 lbs car
206-210cc runner vortec bowtie heads 2.00-1.55 valves
bowtie open plane intake, 790 holley carb.
252 int/256 ex at .050 .541 int/.550 ex lift w/1.5
45 lbs crank, honda rod journal, 6.125 rods, 370 gram pistons, .043/.043/3mm rings
Headers 1 5/8 primary to 1 3/4” with 3” collector, 3” tubing 22” extension into a Y with 4” large muffler on the end

Different intake if allowed, if that carb is VS convert it to mech secondary and teach the driver to drive. Easiest plan of attack is rent a big church parking lot for a couple hours and load it with soap and water and have the driver learn how to be smoother. Kids slick track is a good one too.
The ambitious and humble driver will want to get better/faster. The kids driving daddys wallet don't give a fack and just want what the other guy has that is passing them.

What class rules are you racing under as those may restrict or disallow what some here might suggest and help you set up for?
