Yep, use the amc lifter if rules allow.
I've never seen a reason to use a standard dual pattern camshaft in a limited intake situation, you should think dual pattern in reverse.
Erson using .875" Ford lifter or larger
Intake
F302/.408-A 302 264 0.408 0.012 0.875 MECH
Exhaust
F296/.408-A 296 258 0.408 0.012 0.875 MECH
That's .408 lobe lift, .012" lash ramp and multiply that times rocker ratio for starting lash, can go either way by .004"-.006" depending on ratio.
Limited 2 bl applications go into vacuum at WOT and rpm, why would you need to add ex duration if there is not mass present?
And that's 475hp 355, 11:1, gauge legal 4412 on unported early cast iron bowties using 1.7 intake rockers with 55 degree intake seats and 30 degree ex 25 years ago
