It's how they get rid of the scrap. One piece at a time.

Hmmm if the piston won't fit between those lugs the skirt will be hit by the counter weights. =D>

Just think if you were on the assy. line, with one job to do.. like check a dimension or chamfer an oil hole...and had to do a hundred or more units every day.
bet it is used in the lightening hole in the rod throw as a lifting fixture.. poor guy shipped his, and now has a sore back..

It's the billet they use to forge their light weight cranks...

Looks like a crank blank before it gets expanded by the popcorn machine. You got the before
and after crank deal.

It reminds me of those dipstick hole plugs Ford used to put in C6s at the trans factory. When a
guy came walking in the shop with a scared look on his face, a C6 pan with a half quart of stinky
brown type F and one of those rolling around in it you always new it was Saturday.

lol...oh no a North Korean uranium bar. Eagle cranks are now on the destructive device list.
Makes sense, seeing as some people are determined to use Eagle rods as weapons of mass destruction.

Have you asked Eagle what it is? Maybe you'll get a reward for its return.

I think you nailed it.. it is the handle that came off the gage drawer in the QC Department!
