Just think if you were on the assy. line, with one job to do.. like check a dimension or chamfer an oil hole...and had to do a hundred or more units every day.
bet it is used in the lightening hole in the rod throw as a lifting fixture.. poor guy shipped his, and now has a sore back.. :mrgreen:

I’ve mail ordered a few cranks before but never had a handle come taped to the bag...
Hmmmm, WTF is this???

Looks like a crank blank before it gets expanded by the popcorn machine. You got the before
and after crank deal.

It reminds me of those dipstick hole plugs Ford used to put in C6s at the trans factory. When a
guy came walking in the shop with a scared look on his face, a C6 pan with a half quart of stinky
brown type F and one of those rolling around in it you always new it was Saturday.
