It's not free, but really the truck has held up well. A few u joints till we got the angles sorted and went to better ones and broke the tranny at Diaganal last year.

We been winning enough to pay for race gas and tow gas so far this year. I seldome did that drag racing.

I could just sit at home and post theory and ideas on ST instead of truck pulling, that'd sure be cheaper, :D and I'd probably win more too !!!

Took the pulling truck up to the local grain elevator to scale it.

Front axle = 5050 LB
Rear axle = 1130 LB
Is this good for a no weight box in front of the bumper class ?
What would you like to see as far as right to left weight split ?

Don’t hold me to it but I believe one of the guys that help build some of the mopar chassis said there at 1200 on the rear axle with box on

It seems the best weight placement would vary from track to track and even at times from pull to pull.

In cab video of our pull Sat. at Burlington Junction, MO.

NWMO pullers ass. sanctioned pull.

The 3 IAMO trucks that were there took top 3 spots.

The 2 trucks to left of him as he leaves the track are other 2 IAMO trucks.

Pretty impressive. He kept it on the edge of the shift light for about 18 seconds. Good smooth driving. Shut it down without abuse.

I know nothing about truck pulling. How much maintance is the clutch? What is the clutch life?

Engine sounds great. How many of the other trucks are small blocks?

It was full throttle a few seconds in to the pull. It just has that much load on it that it took it that long to turn the shift light on. Rev limiter is 9200 rpm and you can here it bump it just a bit and it turns the shift light back off for a bit. Shift light is 300 rpm below rev limit so in case the track is loose and it turns on shift light at half throttle you know not to add any more.

Clutch holds up real well. Came from Trav's 4x4. Same stuff he runs in his pro stock pulling truck.
Has .030" wear after all of last season. Just shimmed it up.

One other truck that pulls with IAMO is small block.

I think just one other small block at this pull.

the pull looks like it is less abusive than I though it would; being at that rpm for 18 sec. The motor sounded great. =D>

I'm just curious what kinda oil you guys run and how much pressure you use at that kinda rpm for substained time like that.

Engine has driven XP7 in it currently.

50-60 psi oil pressure.
