Cliff Ruggles is indeed legit and is a certified gentleman. However, the idle circuit modifications and recipes in his book are too rich, way, way, way too plug fouling rich. He must have written the text before WBO2 became so widely available. If you use WBO2 to tune street cruising and driveability you must have learned this .. ??D.S.R.E. wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2018 11:53 pmIf you were close to me "Portland Oregon" id invite you over to get it squared away, i build custom Pontiacs and Q-jets, I do a lot of 75-79 800cfm Q-jets for guys making up to 600hp, Cliff Ruggles is Legit and is where I get most of my parts when I need new Stuff, good luck with your car, you have gotten good advise, fwiw if it's idling too fast with the throttle blades closed its because you have too much initial timing from my experience.

It been a long time but I went to the Rochester school on qjets and they are simply amazing in what they can do.They were good enough that GM was able to use them a few years after others had to go fuel injection to meet emission requirements.
