Head sealing on a bigger boost ls

Trying to find out what the options are for an ls head gasket/o ringing etc on 20psi+ boosted small bore ls engine with a standard 4 bolt block?

Have no experience with boosted LS engines. My prefered method is still the old school copper gaskets with stainless Orings and receiver grooves.

Look at the copper head gasket they use with the smaller diameter/taller rings. That's what I would use, well actually I'd use the hole thing

I am guessing those are a pyramid ring deal and that is one way I have heard about so far. Titan has copper gasket with a ring in the gasket also. I have no feedback on them.

Great stuff never saw them. Those are pyramid rings. Ill check into those a little more as it looks as though they are only down to a 4.055 bore and I am at 3.8-3.9 ish

Yeah, I've never used them, but they sure do look high quality. I am currently fighting a little head lifting issues on my personal LS. If it comes apart I may be looking into those myself.

Those pyramids bite the head, the copper ones I linked don't.

Solid copper head gaskets with orings and receiver grooves is tried and true. I am intrigued by the two variations shared that are captured secondary sealing methods. I have used the I.C.S. gaskets with the orings built in and will not bash them however they did not hold up at higher boost levels (above 20). I did a LS back in October and used solid copper orings and receiver grooves for a 30 lb application. I have a 23° Chevy at 28lbs+ boost with same set up with 64 passes on it . Pretty reliable old tech. Always nice to see new innovations too.

I'll happily bash the ICS gaskets. I installed a set and they were so poorly engineered that the rest of the gasket didn't even touch the decks. Coolant ran out as fast as it was poured in despite religious observance of proper torque on ARP head studs. The replacement set did the same thing.
