I feel Mark may be right above to point out that the heads were most limiting on your previous combo. Shafiroff says they'll send you a dyno sheet with the linked engine (427W) showing 630FWHP on a combo that is essentially your old setup with the addition of AFR220's (and open header exhaust we'll assume.) Their cam is only slightly larger than your old cam.
That'a about where we usually ended up in that cubic inch range, with smaller hydraulic rollers. I have a couple of CHP Dyno videos posted.

Here's a 427 - 10.5: - smaller 205 heads - and a .600 lift H/R cam. 602 H/P 587 Torque.

Yes the Vic jrs are the weak point. The SV would work just fine. I just think the 2828 will do well on this size Windsor.
I'd have considered one if I thought it would fit under my flat hood. :D

Very nice, thanks for sharing. Hoping for 600 in a similar 427.

Is this a super vic or jr? I've got one going on the dyno next Wednesday, pump gas, same heads, solid roller, super vic with hermaphrodite Holley/FAST EFI.

OP is this a street car or track? If you have the 58 cc AFR head you can get 12.75:1 with a flat top.

is that 4.125 or 4.03 bore. I have never seen the 220's work very well on the small bore.
