Din't mean to suggest you or your build was obsolete, just me and mine. Total Seal is great for the 4" and up bore guys with high budgets, but sometimes some of us need a low ball option and I included that link for us.

As Alan mentioned, contact Total Seal. This is commonly done on NHRA Stock Eliminator engines where the rules stipulate original ring groove width in pistons. Many of their spacers also have side gas ports, as well. Measure the ring groove depth in the pistons before you call them.

Having used and sold Total Seal Advantage ring sets for over a decade now, I can assure you tht the spacers are NOT oil ring rails, nor will oil ring rails work as well.. And the spacers are not like their gapless top ring. You can combine the spacers with their gapless top ring.

What I meant, a gapless top ring set is basically a spacer with a much thinner top ring. I wasn't suggesting using pieces and parts to try and adapt to other applications. I was just pointing out that.

I found the spacers I needed to fit a 3 3/4" bore Seagrave v-12 @ Wiseco. A user friendly phone call, reasonable, and they got them to me promptly. Years ago they would have been readily available from Perfect Circle. In many places they would have been called GI inserts and were many times used in re-ring jobs to repair top ring groove excessive clearance and to space the top ring down from the ridge in the cylinder caused by the previously used top ring.

For True. I've got a Perfect Circle kit, with the hand-driven tool to square up the worn grooves to accept the spacer rings.
