One way to find out is to gas her until she blows!

Will NOS like that high a CR? I don't know...

I suppose shim OR MLS head gaskets along with studs should be able to keep the heads from lifting??

How much does the car weigh?

How many different combos do you have?
Automotive Machining, cylinder head rebuilding, engine building. Can't seem to quit #-o

TRW pistons? 5/64 rings?

I don't see 10.50's at 3400 with that combination on engine only. You will run better on nitrous comparatively than engine. The rect. port heads have a lot of volume for a 396.

Think along the lines of the NHRA B/SA classes. They can run low 10's with ease but they are highly modified motors so it probably depends on motor building abilities but the potential is there.

If you spray it, I think you might run out of gear....

Racing a NA NHRA stocker should be mandatory before any posting.

noI have had or currently have at any given time 5 to 10 engines that particular build is twenty + years old I never got to shoot it hard I shot my 358 at 12:1 comp stock block without issues so I don't see the 396 not takin a 350 shot with ease my friend had a similiar build only no solid roller went low tens @115 cutting gas do to the fact the car was all over the track. I also went a lo ten @ about 118 cutting gas I don't see a problem with mid to lo nines and I only shot 200 twisted an axle tube in a 69 camaro 3300# car the car ran. 11.0's on motor with a tunnelram and twin 660's thru 3 1/2 exhaust @3300#
