I love the comment he made after the last pulls. Now we have to condense all this into some bs they will believe. I personally would have used a 245ish at .050 solid roller, something not huge, but big enough to work the 220 heads some. Then the test would have been valid. Then the results would have been different, and would have showed the differences better. Its funny how they are surprised the thing made strong tq at low rpm with the small head and cam. That 165 head, is pretty much useless. The 180 is a better choice for any application that you would consider the 165.

Did you notice how small that cam was. 218/224 and .513 lift. Engine was 10.2:1.

Problem I see with that test is they used the same cam for all three heads. Obviously that cam was better suited for the 165 heads but it didn't really lose much going to 210 heads did it.
x2 if they threw some cam and intake at that the big heads would have come alive. Still a strong runner for what it was .

I wondered if the bigger head actually had weaker flow numbers at the lifts they had than the mid sized head.

assuming the smaller valve port would have a much harder pull on it wiht the smaller head?

Same duration with .100 more lift and a real intake would have made things allot different!
I mean, this is the 21st century, .500 lift is great for the tow hauler, but not for anything expecting any real performance!
