That Boss block is definitely casting and machining art, but if you want to see block hand made art, check out Swampbuggy's hand polished Dart small block in the thread for "Post pics of what you are working on " ! Now that's crazy man made block art!

Hope that's not a finished product or perhaps there was some video problem.
That's a machined cast aluminum block with what appear to my experienced eyes the most evil of cast aluminum gremlins exposed by machining: gas pockets. If so, reject and try again with the process under control.
Utilize the best current metallurgy knowledge available, that effort was a fail.

A neat form of, "block art", was done by the dude that cleaned/polished up a 215" BOP aluminum V-8 and made a glass topped coffee table out of it!
