Congrats!
Great power and a wide even torque band!
It looks like what I would expect from a well thought out combo!
Is the car set up to hook it all?

Re: dynod my 406 sbc
I 'd be very happy with that.
I'd like to see numbers close to that with my ( yet to be built ) 406 , but I'll have std low port 23 degree heads.
My 377 is probably close to 680ish , but that same 377 is growing to a 406 over the winter. 4.155 bore / 3.75 stroke.

That's a real nice engine. What are you racing or, are you in street week 2018?

Nice job. We got very similar/same numbers on the Brodix 18X headed 406 SBC from years ago.
Quite a bit of work done on the heads, thou, then. They had just come out with the 18x.
This 406 engine was built for nitrous so the compression was not as high.
Ran on Methanol. Nitrous side ran on 114 gasoline. Made over 1300HP sprayed.
Now AFR has 23deg raised port heads that can equal that.
Again nice job.

One thing is for sure, the dyno isn't happy. It should run fast for the power level. Nice piece. I would run a 6800-7000 converter in the thing, maybe more, as loose as 7200. Shift it at 8200. With the appropriate gear. That will need to be determined by tire size, projected mph, etc.

Re: dynod my 406 sbc
have a coan 7 inch converter about 7500 stall
32 "14"15 tyres in a 2600 lbs fulltube chassie with 5.67 in rear axle
only 1/8 mile race
what are you folks thinking abut that setup
more or less rear ? more or less stall ?
thanks
i run engine and car before dyno with wrong jets and timing 30 degree timing and the car went 5.68 5,72 and 60 feet 1.28-1.32
121-122 mph
this is a verry god track at sealevel
thanks

Dyno power result is not inflated.
Look on your dyno sheet printout find the weather data
and correction factor applied.

Re: dynod my 406 sbc
Just to be sure the 'happy dyno' meaning is clear: to make the customer happy, unscrupulous dyno operators may enter incorrect atmospheric data such as higher temperature and/or lower barometric pressure than actual, which results in bigger 'corrected' power values. One big clue is if a low altitude dyno sheet in a cool part of the world shows a large correction factor, say 6-10% or even more.
