the mrs and I were there in our new 59 corvette. we had just gotten married and I wanted her to know what the rest of her life would be like on weekends. :D

FE Ford in that top eliminator... Art Arfons, Dode Martin, the Dragmasters old Plymouth biz coupe... what's not to like?

I own that DVD and a few others like it. Watching that video makes me wish I was born in the 1940's instead of 1971. Everything was a little different back then and nobody seemed to have racing 99% figured out like they do now.

If it was '59, wasn't the TE rail powered by a MEL?

I think its an MEL look at the spacing of the exhaust ports vs the spark plug locations vs an FE.

I thought it was really neat. Question is what technology from today would be the most disruptive if it could be brought back in time? I'd say tires and traction compounds..

Thats a MEL , 3 valve cover bolts along the outside , quik giveaway!
