I own that DVD and a few others like it. Watching that video makes me wish I was born in the 1940's instead of 1971. Everything was a little different back then and nobody seemed to have racing 99% figured out like they do now.

Looks like an FE valve cover. The FE was out in 1958.

I thought it was really neat. Question is what technology from today would be the most disruptive if it could be brought back in time? I'd say tires and traction compounds..
