what is the piston crown mod david? is that info in one of your bbc books?

Bet a 496 will do fine hows he going to hook it all to the pavement anyways? At 1000 mi a yr wouldnt go much further

That is my thought whenever someone says "I want X amount of power". I have built inexpensive 350s that would boil the tires for a block. One of the locals bought a 572 and put it in his 69 Malibu. The tires broke loose when he shifted into high gear and the car went into the ditch, killing the friend he was trying to impress.
So much to do, so little time...

Just go with 540 ...if you don’t have a 454 block already
