For your mph you should be close to 1.40 60' and 10.04 1/4 et. For his 9.60 et he should be 138 to 139 mph thru the traps. So you both have a little tuning to do . Dan

1320 divided by 137 = 9.63 and that's only a jumping off point you can do much better.
A good low eleven second car can run 1.41 60s, and I mean 11.20s.

That's not really the point here . Your going to need a lot more than 556 hp to go 9.60 in the 1/4 with a 2900 lb car. Dan6.50camaro wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2017 9:32 pm Both motors are fairly close. A whole lot of the E T is dependent on the car it self. I can testify to that.

"Your going to need a lot more than 556 hp to go 9.60 in the 1/4 with a 2900 lb car" 135 MPH @ 2900, 556 HP The cars I've seen run 1.41 60s run 11.2 @ 116 MPH. You can run 9.60s @ 135 if your car works.

Re: 434 vs 434
Maybe for perfect pass conditions but they don't account for traction and or max tuning @ 132 3400# it says 610 fwhp I think we made more like 650/675 honestly any way that was on a really conservative tune at 28 degrees timing with the plugs dead white I know it had much more left in it a jet change and better 60 ft I think hi 9's would have been achieveable either way not to shabby for off the shelf parts and 92 octane

Maybe you haven't heard it before but, over hear on speed talk we rate HP by MPH over 1320 learn it, know It, live it.
