Air filter on Dominator

What is the best airfilter set up to run on a Dominator carb? I saw a test on you tube that was for 4150 style carbs and they used a velocity stack with a tall K&N filter that gained h.p. over no filter scenario. Does anyone make a velocity stack for a Dominator or is this not the way to go? Is a Dominator designed to be run with no air fiter? It seems to me that may be the case.....

If you saw that YouTube video then you know that the first factor to be addressed is how much HP your looking to make , the Carb is the second factor.

Run a tall one if you have the room for it. K&N makes elements that are 5 and 6 inches tall. If you have room then use one of those. If you don't have the room then do what you can.

The salad bowl makes sense to me logically and it parallels with their dyno results. Air pulling across the carb messes with the airflow. Hard for air to make a 90 deg turn effectively.

I am really hoping to find a dominator velocity stack and put a filter on it. Any ideas?
