Hello everyone, I have a question that I'm hoping I can get some advice on. I am currently building a 350 sbc for my 56 chevy. This engine is just an engine to get my car running using parts I have available, before I can build my 400 sbc. Not thrilled about buying a new intake I am hoping I can get some help with my dilemma.
I have a Weiand intake that has a port size of 1.23 x 1.99''. This asks for fel pros intake gasket 1204.
My heads are world products sportsman II heads and have an intake size of 1.28 x 2.09''. This asks for fel pro intake gasket 1205.

Can I get a way with using this intake on these heads? If so, what gasket should I use? Thank you.

Re: Intake / head question
You can either buy a set of 1205 size gaskets and place one against the manifold and see if there is enough meat there to seal or look at your intake. Can you see the old gasket marks? Do you have another 0.1 inch of room to seal?
Re: Intake / head question
Use the 1205 gasket, glue it to the head centered on the port opening. You're only talking .050" difference at the top & bottom of port & .025" on each side.
