Zero ptb clearance
Was this a typo are can a engine run with no skirt to wall clearance.

Typo. Measure the piston and subtract that from nominal bore size and you'll get your clearance.

I remember seeing the same thing when I rebuilt my 125cc Honda. I called to confirm and they said the piston has the designed clearance built in for the specific bore size, in my case .020 over. I had the cylinder bored to the spec on the sheet and fit it like they wanted. Never had an issue. Is a bit unerving though lol.

Some old time engines with T slot pistons were fitted right to the bore size. This made the engine very quiet but later skirt designs made this unnecessary for a quiet engine.

Old Nascar piston. Probably for Roush. They set them to their own clearances regardless of hat the sheet says.
