Thanks. Stock range is 0.0010 to 0.0024 so imho it is already pretty large for a 1.063 diameter cam, that's why I'd like to return at least in range
For a 1.0" cam journal, a bearing clearance of .0014" to .0032" is quite normal. You did not indicate a measure for out of roundness. Typical roundness spec might be .0012".
Which part of the cam bearing cap is worn?
It was only the middle top part of the cap to be worn, so i then decided to remove the head to line hone it, thanks
