Unless it's known that one set of headers would be significantly better (or worse) exhaust scavenging, or perhaps tuned for a different RPM range, not much change IMO.
Automotive Machining, cylinder head rebuilding, engine building. Can't seem to quit #-o

I will have a guess
Always got to say what the intended use is..
But My guess slightly shorter cam on the exhaust side and overlap. otherwise 4-2-1s are better all rounder with less peak hp
Depends on the rev range of the engine 4-2-1's have a broader rev range but less energy (vacuum).
I play mostly with 4valve heads where the exhaust is always a shorter cam duration. where 2valve V8's are longer duration on exhaust side.
I myself like 4into1's for all out power and tune-ability for light cars and bikes.
( But I also like delortos over webbers because they atomize a finer fuel mist and are more tune-able in progression.Easier to tune too once you get your head around the secondary fuel circuits and float level tuning.)
So what would I know 8)~

It's a 530hp 421 sbc in a 4200 lb. street machine. 1 or 2 trips to the track per year.

The phasing of the tri-y header collectors needs to agree with the cam firing order. Otherwise no changes needed for such a mild combo.

I got them done. I thought they turned out OK for the first set.
