When I worked for Toyota doing simple parts production I had to sign a intellectual property
waiver meaning any of my ideas, at work, were and became "their ideas" and their potential patents, not mine. Makes you want to not share ideas.
"small block" is he refering to the gen 1 '55up SBC or the LS motor? Which they now refer to as the "small block".
Those Mercury crate motor OHC 4 valve cylinder heads on a LS based block of this crate motor are their doing. Don't know how much if of any of it GM's work. or a engineering collaboration.
