Update, I tried the Permatex Permasheild and for some reason it just came off as the stud screwed in, wet and even if I let it set up on the stud it came off before going into the hole. I also picked up some Permatex no3 Aviation but it seemed too sim tah that junk so I didn't even try it. I ended up just using some Permatex Surface Insensitive Threadlocker BLUE that I already had n forgot about. Says right in the description for rocker studs, I did pull the stud after applying some and it wetted the hole all the way down unlike that other junk. https://www.permatex.com/products/threa ... er-blue-2/
For use with gasoline and won't cure up on me too quick, so if I gotta try n line up the guide plates more than a few times b4 I get it right
(20mins & 24hrs full cure). https://www.permatex.com/wp-content/upl ... /24300.pdf
edit: I tried that permasheild stuff on more than one stud n hole n both were the same FYI, idk why it did what it did.

I will say it again, good old messy Indianhead!
Just like said a couple of times, make sure everything is clean! I dull tap my holes and wire brush my bolt threads and use Brake-Clean and an air hose.

Noone using Loctite thread sealant? Like 577?
Have used it with gear oil and fuel, very good results.
This is not a 'locker', pure sealant. Bolts easy to remove.

Yeah I said so earlier, they don't know what they are missing.
577 eh?
Do you know how is it different than 565?
Description looks so similar I can't tell. Perhaps the difference is the squeeze tube VS the tub with brush
