CGI Cleveland block....making history!
CGI Track Boss Cleveland block “Shatters the glass ceiling” setting the bar for ALL other blocks to follow, making history again…

You read that correct, the Track Boss Cleveland is coming in CGI material.
$3750 also makes this even more historical in that it will be the strongest aftermarket block available for the money, so we will not be offering a cast iron blocks. You may ask how we can offer a CGI block at this price when Dart gets a $2500 premium....well that's proprietary information.
AND to say a BIG Thank You for your patience, (Tod started this design back in 2007) we will be selling the first 50 CGI block for $3500.
Because CGI is almost twice as strong as cast iron, NOW imagine a CGI with a block lightening program, you could have a iron block that weighs about the same as Aluminum.
Ryan Hunter, President of SCE gaskets suggested when using a copper head gasket with wire to leave roughly .150” between the cylinders. That mean a 4.230”-4.250” bore is potential for the really high and application.
BEST of all..the outside of the block looks OE. Paint it Ford blue and you probably can’t tell the difference.
*1st aftermarket Cleveland block, designed by Tod Buttermore. Tooling & rights to manufacture purchased by TMeyer in 2015.
Here’s a little history for you.

*1st automotive block to use the new super alloy from ALCOA (making this the strongest cast aluminum block available)
*1st Cleveland block to be approved by NHRA
*1st Cleveland block to be approved by NMCA
*1st Cleveland block to be manufactured in CGI material. (making this the strongest Cleveland block available and for $3750, making it the strongest of any aftermarket blocks available for the money)
The Track Boss Cleveland block has been designed with honest ingenuity.
Using technology like “thread forming” and “lifter bore burnishing” give us that extra strength and advantage that no other block will have.
Stay tuned…we have a few more “firsts” coming…

Re: CGI Cleveland block....making history!
I designed a compacted graphite block for fords Mod 4.6 with 40 some improvements over the std block they never cast one though. Big issue was the patent holder of the best process wanted 75.00 per block to use it.

WOW so your giving birth to a SB Ford that won't split into pieces under high Boost? Nice job!
Re: CGI Cleveland block....making history!
Been a long time coming. The Ford Fraternity will be very grateful for the persistence in getting this
block done. I bet there has been some huge hurdles and challenges along the way.
Congratulations and THANK YOU

Watching all this progress in Ron's group on FB, Tim. Its amazing. As well as the intake progress. Do you have any ideas of when the first complete engine will be fired?
Horsepower is a beautiful thing

Congratulations on your progress.
Those main webs look beefy, are you having any difficulty with voids at that thickness?
I would be interested to hear about your journey of the design and foundry tooling creation.
Can you share what foundry pours the casting?

A 400 deck version with 4.125+ bore capability, 351 mains, engine mounts and bellhousing pattern would be a treat !Racerrick wrote:Awesome block! Will there be a 400m tall deck version

Re: CGI Cleveland block....making history!
I think earlier it was said that a 400 height would be coming
How about a dual pattern bellhousing for when a 460 trans is installed
I've built a couple of 400s one for a 73 Mercury and one for a truck- they can be great motors
