While I was developing the spherical dish stuff, we found that a MINIMUM .375 width band was critical. Less hurt performance.

Is it a reasonable assumption that the chambers tested all had dual quench pads (cam side and plug side), as opposed to chambers where all the quench is on the cam side and the plug side had no effective quench area?

That would be a reasonable assumption.

This is very interesting to me because I started out with 2T's as a kid and I always assumed if it worked for 2T's it would work for 4T's if you had the correct combustion chamber for it.


I'm sure there is a bunch not being told about it though.
