6 bolt exhaust pattern on good flowing heads ?
Why are there good flowing heads made with 6 bolt exhaust pattern for SBC, Why not 7 bolt holes OLDHEAD

Seeing as I can think of at least 6 or7 different 7 bolt patterns for the exhaust side of a SBC head....what exactly are you talking about??
Factory from the mid-80's 7-bolt in-line, the 7-bolt Stahl pattern, the 7-bolt Hooker pattern, Brodix 18°, Alan Johnson, Pontiac SBC #867.....??
Plenty of aftermarket heads with factory 6-bolt also have cast provision to drill to a 7-bolt pattern....
So what exactly are you ranting about....??

I think the Buick sbc had 7 also.
