If you have been hanging in with me and this painful thread this is an interesting graph. Port #8 was done much differently than port #1. Port #1 I worked like crazy to get what I figured would be 310cfm intake and 210cfm exhaust. I came close to those goals through many cut and flow tests and some help from my ST friends. This port was done more like an average porter and done in sections to see increases or decreases from work. Test #1 stock, Test #2 intake gasket match to 1205 and big cut on pinch, Test #3 deep bowl cut, Test #4 raise roof and expand sides intake and blend exhaust walls and roof, Test #5 ssr reshape.

You could figure that a decent porter could get this gain without doing the guides and valve job which would need to be in either excellent shape or done by a pro. Chamber to this point is stock shape.

Someone "borrowed" my fine point sharpie, Sorry. Interesting progression. I would never had suspected intake and pinch would make such a huge difference on a stock port. Input is welcome. If there is any interest in me proceeding let me know. Thanks, Charlie

I am really hoping so. The project is still a bit up in the air but when a hp number is set for a project the only way to prove it has been reached is with some dyno or track time. Really interested in your input at this point Randy, I like how you think. Thanks, Charlie

Please no laughing, 700 hp, 434, street drivable using these heads. Possible tunnel ram, possible dual fuel injections tbi.
