Guides for GMPP Fast Burn Heads

Post by cnsperf »

Does anyone have a source for guides for the GMPP Fast Burn aluminum heads. Several dealers told me GM does not offer them for sale even though there is a valid part number. Couldn't find an aftermarket direct replacement through my sources. Prefer bronze but will be happy with factory style replacements. Thanks for the assistance in advance.

replacement guides for a l98 corvette work sbi # 140-8180. There a little longer (2.275) but can be milled down.

Excellent! Thank you. I can shorten up the length easily. Don't know why I couldn't find that one in the SBI catalog.

PEP has an assortment of guide sizes & lengths. I have had some IHRA Crate Mtr Fast burn heads that needed larger guides. I bought a reamer the right size and guides from PEP. I put them in the VGS 20 and made it work.
