I know this thread is old I just came across this as I'm researching using E85 in my 300 straight six and I am trying to figure out how E85 affects cam choice. From what I understood the OP was stating that E85 likes a wider LSA because of the reduction in valve overlap but what I don't understand is in the example that he gave on the 377 engine is the cam with the 106 lsa had 53* overlap and the 109 lsa had 64* how did increasing the LSA decrease overlap when it clearly increased the overlap. The OP in the same scenario wondered why the car went faster by increasing the lsa, my guess would be the increase in duration and overlap had more of an effect on the car going faster than the widening of the lsa or am I missing something.
Thanks Jason

This entire thread is a piss poor representation of Speedtalk. Smh.
