Steve had to comment on your build as mines similar.
Sounds like an honest #. Yet others with similar heads/smaller cams claim as much as 100hp more makes one wonder lol.
Using an old Team G I spent a number of hours on its staying.

Re: SBC intake manifold dyno comparison.
A few months ago I fully ported a set of Brodix IK 200 and a #2970 SV (dominator flange) for a friend's 355 SBC . He changed his mind about the carb after he got the intake then I had to relocate the carb stud for a 750 might Demon fit.
I ported the sharp turn above the ports entry some, but I figured the carb thortle plates positioned more inward and the added plenum height would help the charge make the turn.
The port exits were mismatched but I could port match them nicelly due the added head intake port size.
My friend have no complaints about low end torque, and his engine rev like a dremel . She put 391hp to the wheels with a 240 cam and 10.3 CR. Should hit 400 without the full exaust.

Have somebody dyno tested this configuration of carb/intake?

Re: SBC intake manifold dyno comparison.
Built a 350 today, and yes, that #8 on a #2925 is really bad. Mine was to far rearward. I just took it back off and went with a standard Victor Jr.JoePorting wrote:Have you ever noticed how the #8 port on the #2925 is off by .250". It's so off that when you try and match port it to a Felpro 1206, about .100 of the port is off the gasket. I think it's been like that since the beginning. You'd think Edelbrock would have fixed the tooling by now.WeingartnerRacing wrote:Probably because the Super victor looks like shit out of the box.
