using a shogun alternator

i am set up for the shogun alternator on my sbc and i think the rectifier may be bad. anyone know if i can get one somewhere. shogun is out of business and i dont know if they had dealers or suppliers to sell their products. is it possible to use a rectifier from another brand alternator.? mine is about 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches and about 1/4 inch thick with a pos and neg post. 2 posts connected to the battery. thanks for any info given art

I went to a alternator place and got a diffrent one from him which worked was bigger but it works and alternator only puts out 19 amps though

Hey Gary, check your phone msg. Amperage Technologies in Calgary are the "go to guys " for anything like this.

Aren't these just Kubota tractor alternators? If so can you just go to your nearest equipment company?

4 banger i think they are alike, bu hAVE DIFFERENT MOUNTING SYSTEMS, AND I WAS JUST LOOKING TO BOLT the alternator BACK ON THANKS ART
