Postby chevy art » Fri Nov 08, 2013 12:08 pm

i am set up for the shogun alternator on my sbc and i think the rectifier may be bad. anyone know if i can get one somewhere. shogun is out of business and i dont know if they had dealers or suppliers to sell their products. is it possible to use a rectifier from another brand alternator.? mine is about 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches and about 1/4 inch thick with a pos and neg post. 2 posts connected to the battery. thanks for any info given art

Aren't these just Kubota tractor alternators? If so can you just go to your nearest equipment company?
