This may sound like a stupid question but if the two emulsion holes in a Holley metering block are enlarged then tapped (6-32) and brass set screws are installed drilled to .026 will the air flow through these brass screws be the same as a block with the .026 holes that's not been disturbed.
There may be a space where the screw bottoms leaving a enlarged drilled space before entering the main well.

Most billet metering blocks are like that, as long as the hole edge in the main well is clean, no burrs, you should not see any difference. Now if something is protruding, that's a different story. Tuner had a carb that had a small broken tip of a drill broke in an emulsion hole from the factory that was not caught, messed up the AFR significantly.
