Ok it"ll run 11.99. I have a 460hp sbc in an 80 vette that turns 115mph with 11sec et's in street trim. I doubt you'll have a problem as is.
results speak for themselves

I need to find a way to even remotely hook on the street with my Vortechpro 496 or the much
Better balanced Vette's going to scoot right on past me

I'm thinking of pulling this BBC apart over the winter and changing pistons and heads to afr cnc 265 leaving cam and possibly a Vic jr. Intake would I gain enough to justify the heads?

Racing a NA NHRA stocker should be mandatory before any posting.

I don't think Mark likes using single planes much with his oval port combos

The vette runs strong no dought about that I've only had it at the track once since the swap and it something like 8.0@92 if I remember right that was with a 3310 Holley it now has a 850 Holley hp ultra and I had my old mans marching number transmission to his 66 vette in it so I was trying to be gentle now it has a tko 600 and side pipes! The thing that bugged me about the build when I did it was the vast iron heads so the hole purpose of this thinking is loose weight with aluminum heads and maybe gain a little to hit the 600 mark
