Here’s a short update on conversion to dual MAFs. The car has a large dynamic range of air consumption, 36 kg/h at idle and 3600 kg/h at projected peak power. That’s 100x or two orders of magnitude. We’re trying to get that work with reprogrammed stock ECUs. The stock MAF taps out at somewhere around 1300 kg/h.

Slight detour in the project after about 500 dyno tests.

I don’t know much about transmissions. Can someone help me find the part numbers for these smaller parts? I can’t match them to anything in the factory workshop manual.

Damn, way to not half-ass it. Thank God for rev limiters, huh

Yes, John Kuhn who’s designing and building these twin turbo 928s doesn’t half ass it.

This one went out at only 500 lbf-ft at the rear axle and 5000 rpm with transmission near ideal operating condition. So it was likely cumulative stresses and damage.

Would this application benefit from cryogenic or meta-lax treatment?

I started a thread on that in the appropriate location:

John is replacing the plenum box and MAF with a lower pressure loss Y-pipe. Will still look like a box though:

Water/meth injection? I apologize if it's been mentioned previously. I didn't see anything in my cursory glance. Thanks.

Edit: I got it now. Watched the last video you posted. Makes sense. Looks good, too! :)

John Kuhn's video. Those are for signal/operating pressures for wastegates.
