"Still wondering what the connection is to fuel curve".

Probably has to do with Northern Hemisphere rotational motion dynamics.......

Do you always mock what you don't understand Ron?

Decisions on parts and advise should not be based on how much money a company can pour into marketing. This is a common mis-conception in the industry.

I'd be interested in the relationship between crankshaft balance and the fuel curve. do you have one strange?

I believe he means the vibrations caused by the crank at determined RPM may "shake" the fuel into the carb emulsion wells and make the AFR lean due the fact the carb passages may act like smaller cross sections, by the high frequency vibration.

I've heard this before but haven't any hard data to prove this point. :?

The B.S.F.C and how it looks will change with reduced harmonics. It wil be flatter when doing an A,B,A comparison, and from a better looking fuel curve and reduced harmonics, you have power gains.

Jenkins worked on something very similar, that item was an isolator that went bewteen the carb and manifold. Although it was good for gains on the dyno, down track was different, and thats because a dyno is mounted on concrete and the engine down the track is on 4 rubber wheels. Gains on the dyno, none down the race track.
