Long turn raduis ramping for alky.

I did the long turn radius ramping (as shown in D. Vizards book), on a Victor JR intake, at the entrance to the head ports.
The motor is a SBF 351w running on Alky.
All the cylinders look very good week to week.
The basic A/F ratio has been varified with a wide band recording setup while running on the track as per the carb builder's spec for jetting.
There seems to be no problems
Is there any comment on the value of this ramp inclusion?
