roller lifters

Post by bsfc9 »

there has been "word on the street" for quite a while that there has been a quality problem concerning roller lifters(hyd and mech)from two very popular suppliers(c*** and cr***). has anyone had any comments about any recent experiences(good or bad) with these? besides jesel who is marketing better rollers these days?

Well around some of the people I know the C*** ones do have a tarnished reputation..... The Isky Red Zone and the Crower with HIPPO option seem to be most durable..... Many prefer the Isky Red Zones due to the fact they can be rebuilt and the Crowers cannot.... but both seem to have a good reputation. I know two engine builders who will use nothing else... Cant comment much on the Jesels.

We have used Crower roller lifters for years but now are using the Jesel rollers lifters and we use the.904 lifters in about everything we have been building with great success. And we prepare a lot of blocks for other shops and engine builders and they seem to be using the .904 lifters as well.

we have had good luck with isky and crower also, would like to know more about the morel; sounds like they are of the same league as jesel(which we have had great luck with), more appropriate for "premium builds". thanks guys :D
